What the *Fox* is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a beauty treatment that has been gaining popularity - if your clients aren't asking for it yet...they will be soon!

It is a non-invasive technique that involves straightening and shaping the eyebrows using a chemical solution. In this blog post, we will explore what brow lamination is, the benefits of this treatment, what to expect during and after the procedure and how you can polish up your lamination skills.

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a beauty treatment that involves applying a chemical solution to the eyebrows, which softens and straightens the brow hairs. The brow hairs are then brushed into the desired shape and held in place with a setting solution. The result is a fuller, more defined and uniform brow shape that can last for up to six weeks.

Benefits of Brow Lamination

  1. Fuller, more defined brows: Brow lamination can help make your client's eyebrows look fuller, thicker, and more defined. This is achieved by straightening and aligning the brow hairs, which creates a uniform shape.

  2. Saves time on daily brow maintenance: Brow lamination can save your clients time on their daily brow maintenance routine. With the brow hairs set in place, they can simply brush them into shape and go about their day without worrying about their brows becoming unruly.

  3. Long-lasting results: Brow lamination can last for up to six weeks, which means you can pre-book your client's next appointment!

  4. Non-invasive and low maintenance: Brow lamination is a non-invasive treatment that requires minimal maintenance.

What Your Clients Can Expect During and After Brow Lamination

During the procedure, their brows will be cleaned and prepared for the treatment. A chemical solution will then be applied to soften and straighten the brow hairs, and they will be brushed into shape and held in place with a setting solution. The entire process can take up to 45 minutes, depending on the length and thickness of your brow hairs.

After the treatment, they should avoid getting their brows wet for at least 24 hours. After treatment care will depend on the type of lamination product you use. Once the 24 hours have passed, they can resume their normal daily routine, including wearing makeup.

It is important to note that brow lamination is not suitable for everyone.  It is best to have a strong consultation before preforming this service.
